I watch the world news daily and I see the politicians basically saying whatever they want in order to get the office they are running for regardless if its true or false. The news spins the stories so often its easy to get lost and be confused and not really know who to believe. One channel supports and comes up with all these facts to basically shoot another news channel or politian down while the other does the exact same thing leaving the population in the middle to decide who was truthful and who was not. That burden should NOT be placed on the masses because these politicians should be truthful regardless the effect on there possibilities of gaining office after truth comes out. Its like in a real world situation if you gain employment through false information, that is grounds to lose employment. By no means do I put the positions of politicians ahead of any employment but there job is very important and they should be held to a high standard of honesty when running for office because if they gain office on false pretences how can you expect them to be honest in office. There is REALLY NO reason what so ever for any politian on any level to ever embelish or blatanly lie to the public unless its for security of the country. Its is said that politicians lie because the public wants to be lied to and I cant agree at all because it seems like all people look for the truth in politicians, people look for lies in relationships etc. It should be ILLEGAL to gain public office through misguidance.
